welcome to the first edition of wednesday widescreen
that's a whole lot of Ws
i have a confession
i'm a sucker for fantasy
and i thoroughly enjoyed the film
normally i wouldn't sing the praises of a film that has such extreme violence
and promotes women in such a sexual way
BUT all that aside
i'm not going to lie
THIS FILM ROCKED
the costumes, artistic direction and music were fantastic!
and despite the darkness of this film
it proved that goodness does prevail in the end
P L U S
who does love a chic warrior girl?

Billy and I want to see this, and now I'm even more excited! I feel the same way about violence, but when a movie is made well with incredibly artistic direction, I can overlook it. :)
