what does your office say?

Employed persons ages 25 to 54, who live in households with children under 18, spent their average workday - 8.8 hours working or in work-related activities.

According to this study we spend more time in our office than we do sleeping?! I believe a well designed office equals well designed work. Your work space says a lot about you. In my first job out of college at an advertising agency, I was assigned to a cubicle that was a shared space with the proofreader. When I first met him- he seemed like an alright guy- an older man. I proceeded to look around his desk and his chosen 'decor'- if you could even call it that. My gaze made it no further than the giant movie posters of young asian girls above his computer screen?!! I guess he was putting it out there that he was into young asian women.

Got a little side tracked with that flashback...anyways- my point is (i do have one i promise) that every space says something ,no matter how big or small, about you and your work.
Here are a couple of my favorites characters- in real world and on tv- and their workspaces.

It's strong, pretty and wearable.

and make them into the most luxurious things in the world.

I have two: "Lead by Serving." and "Nothing will hold you back as long as you stay flexible enough to alter your path but not your goal." Im really trying to work on that second one, I'm a little stubborn.
